I'm a Security Engineer who builds things. I hunt threats, harden pipelines and ship AI tools that cite their sources <secure/>

tinkerer of a home SOC lab in Pune

A bit about me
I'm a final-year computer science student in Pune who likes understanding how systems break, so I can build ones that don't.
Security is where I spend most of my time: SIEM monitoring, detection rules and threat hunting. I'm just as happy writing code, whether that's a full-stack app, a CI/CD scanner or a GenAI chatbot.
Away from the screen I trek forts across Maharashtra, train at the gym, and compete in hackathons, CTFs and the occasional debate.
B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at Symbiosis Skills and Professional University. 2023 – 2027, CGPA 8.33.
Detection engineering, threat hunting, cloud identity security, DevSecOps and applied GenAI.
Running a home SOC lab, preparing for Microsoft SC-300 and SC-500, and working through TryHackMe's SOC Level 1 path.
Fort treks, the gym, hackathons, CTFs and debate. Events are below, and treks have their own Trail page.
In the arena
01CodemahotsavOrganiser · Tech Lead
Appointed tech lead for the event. I developed its website, where participants signed up, registered their teams, tracked their points and viewed the challenges for each sub-event.

02Cyber Awareness EventWith a team · Outreach
Together with a team, I ran a cyber awareness event for students at SNBP High School in Pimpri-Chinchwad, taking cybersecurity awareness to a school audience.

03Identity ShieldParticipant · 2025
Took part with my CI/CD Pipeline Security Tool, which was selected for the event.

04JSPM HackathonParticipant
Built and pitched a working solution under time pressure alongside other teams.

05Dark CTFCompetitor · Online
Capture-the-flag practice that sharpens the same instincts I use in the SOC: reading evidence, forming a hypothesis, proving it.

06Blockchain vs fiat debateDebater
Argued the case on blockchain-based currency against fiat, which meant digging into how trust, control and security work in both systems.
